Ingredients

  • 500 mL (2 cups) of prepared
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp) of canola oil
  • 50 g (2 oz) of shallots, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 250 mL (1 cup) of dry red wine

Preparation

  • Prepare the demi-glace according to package instructions, keep warm.
  • In a pan sweat shallots in oil.
  • Add bay leaf and red wine and let it reduce by three quarters.
  • Add demi-glace and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
