Sunday Dinner Chuck Roast And Mashed Potatoes
Serving Suggestion: Serve with mashed potatoes. Optional: Add carrots and/or celery to broth while cooking.

Preparation
- In a large skillet, season the meat with pepper and brown it on both sides in the oil along with the onions and garlic. Place in a roasting pan.
- Deglaze with the broth. Bring to a boil and pour over the roast.
- Cover and bake for 3 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.
- Prepare Mashed Potatoes according to recipe standard. Set aside for later step.
- While roast is cooking, prepare Instant Beef Gravy, following instructions.
- Place mashed potatoes in the bottom of the plate and add a piece of the roast.
- Cover with prepared Instant Beef Gravy. Garnish and serve.

- 2.0 L (200 g dry mix + 2 L water) Beef Gravy Mix Gluten-Free Low Sodium Instant
- 250 ml (1 cup) Instant Beef Soup Base, Gluten-Free, Sodium Reduced
- 1.25lbs / 0.61 kg/0.75 L of Mashed Potato, Prepared
- 1 kg Beef chuck roast, about 1 kg
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp) of Olive oil
- 2 of Onions, finely chopped
- 2 of Garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 15 mL (1 Tbsp) of Black Pepper, ground
