  • In a large skillet, season the meat with pepper and brown it on both sides in the oil along with the onions and garlic. Place in a roasting pan.
  • Deglaze with the broth. Bring to a boil and pour over the roast.
  • Cover and bake for 3 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.
  • Prepare Mashed Potatoes according to recipe standard. Set aside for later step.
  • While roast is cooking, prepare Instant Beef Gravy, following instructions.
  • Place mashed potatoes in the bottom of the plate and add a piece of the roast.
  • Cover with prepared Instant Beef Gravy. Garnish and serve.
