Italian Calzone with Spicy Salami and Roasted Peppers

Ingredients

  • 750 mL (3 cups) of prepared Instant, Gluten-Free Culinary Tomato Base
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) of
  • 10 portions of pizza dough
  • 750 mL (3 cups) of spicy salami, sliced
  • 500 mL (2 cups) of roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1.5 L (6 cups) of cheddar cheese, shredded

Preparation

  • Prepare the tomato sauce according to package instructions, add the Italian Booster and set aside.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into circles and set on cookie sheets or pizza trays.
  • Spread tomato sauce on half of each dough portion, and then add salami, red peppers and cheese on top.
  • Fold over the other half of the dough without the toppings and use a fork to seal the edges.
  • Bake at 350°F until crust is golden. Serve and enjoy.
