Chicken Stir Fry with Hoisin Infused Chicken Gravy

Preparation
- Prepare the instant chicken gravy according to package directions. Keep warm.
- Using a wok, melt the butter on high heat and add sesame seed oil.
- Stir fry chicken breasts and cook to 95%. Remove the breasts and reserve on the side.
- In the same wok add all vegetables and garlic and cook for 3 minutes. Deglaze the wok with the hoisin sauce and chicken gravy.
- Add the sesame seeds and continue cooking for 1 minute. Season to taste.
- Add chicken and cook until completely done. Serve on a bed of steamed rice.
Ingredients
- 750 mL (3 cups) of prepared Instant Chicken Gravy Mix
- 75 g (3 oz) of butter
- 60 mL (4 tbsp) of sesame oil
- 8 chicken breasts
- 2 carrots, peeled, thinly sliced and blanched
- 5 green onions, chopped
- 500 mL (2 cups) of mixed Chinese style vegetables, blanched and drained
- 4 garlic cloves, pureed
- 225 mL (1 cup) of hoisin sauce
- 30 mL (2 tbsp) of sesame seeds, toasted
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 10 portions of rice, steamed
