Ingredients

  • 1.5 L (6 cups) of prepared Instant, Gluten-Free Culinary Tomato Base
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) of
  • 900 g (2 lbs) of ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 45 mL (3 tbsp) of olive oil
  • 2.5 mL (1/2 tsp) of red pepper flakes
  • 4 zucchini, peeled into ribbons
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) of butter
  • Kosher salt, to taste

Preparation

  • Prepare tomato sauce according to package instructions, keep warm and set aside.
  • In a frying pan, heat up oil and saute onions until they are translucent.
  • Add the ground beef, red pepper flakes and Booster to the onions, saute until the meat has browned.
  • Once meat is cooked add it to the tomato sauce and stir.
  • Let sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  • While the sauce simmers, melt butter in a frying pan and toss in the zucchini ribbons, cooking for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt.
  • Add the sauce to the zucchini ribbons. Serve and enjoy.
