Preparation
- In a large saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until it bubbles . Remove from the heat.
- Add the soup, cream cheese, garlic, nutmeg and pepper; stir until smooth.
- Place the potatoes and onion in a deep dish. Pour the milk mixture over the potato mixture; mix well.
- Cover and cook on 400°F for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. If desired, sprinkle with paprika.

- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Garlic, in Oil With Citric Acid
- 1 Cup 2% milk
- 2 Cans ( 2x 305 ml) Condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 2 packages (2x 226 ml) Cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 4 Pounds Peeled and sliced potatoes
- 2 Small onions, chopped
- Optional: Paprika
