Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Chopped Garlic, in Oil With Citric Acid
  • 1 Cup 2% milk
  • 2 Cans ( 2x 305 ml) Condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 packages (2x 226 ml) Cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 4 Pounds Peeled and sliced potatoes
  • 2 Small onions, chopped
  • Optional: Paprika

Preparation

  • In a large saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until it bubbles . Remove from the heat.
  • Add the soup, cream cheese, garlic, nutmeg and pepper; stir until smooth.
  • Place the potatoes and onion in a deep dish. Pour the milk mixture over the potato mixture; mix well.
  • Cover and cook on 400° for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. If desired, sprinkle with paprika.
