This quick recipe makes great use of french onion soup mix as a seasoning alternative.

Ingredients

  • 50 g (2 oz) Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 kg (4 lbs) of chicken breasts
  • 230 mL (1 cup) of brown sugar
  • 230 mL (1 cup) of ketchup
  • 230 mL (1 cup) of water

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
  • In a mixing bowl add onion soup mix, brown sugar, ketchup and water, mix well.
  • Place chicken in a pan and pour sauce over top of the chicken.
  • Cover the pan and cook until the chicken is cooked through about 1.5 hours. Serve and enjoy.
