Pointe-Claire, QC, February 2021 — LUDA Foods, manufacturer of soups, sauces and custom blends located in Pointe-Claire, has recently refreshed their packaging design to bring more of a modern tone and feel to their foodservice product line.
“We are delighted to have worked on this project internally with our creative graphic designer, Audrey Landry, and felt we owed the brand a cosmetic update as we identified certain design elements that could be improved. From a communication perspective, one of our main goals was to simplify the message and make it easier for our customers to understand the benefits and claims of our products, as label transparency is more important than ever in the food industry. We also feel that subtle changes like text alignment and adjusted use of space on the label will create quicker understanding. Adding a tagline of ‘Since 1951’ is an ode to our rich history and gentle reminder of our long standing relationships with our customers.
“From a creative perspective, we wanted to extend the imagery of each of our LUDA brand logos into the main label, which we feel we accomplished. The overall imagery and tone are softer and more conducive to modern foodservice packaging as we wanted to keep our branding as modern and relevant as possible”, says Michael Delli Colli, Director of Marketing and R&D.
