LUDA Foods gives back to the community

LUDA Foods is proud to have contributed and given back to various community organisations over the course of 2018.

  • Supported Moisson Montreal and La Maison du Père with product donations of over $25,000.
  • Contributed $500 worth of product every month to the West Island Assistance Fund community kitchen.
  • Participated in the Smoke’s “CEO Eat Off Challenge”, supporting WeCare, and raised $2,500.

The company also believes in the importance of education. For this reason, LUDA Foods gave grants to graduating Food Science students at McGill University, George Brown College of Culinary Arts students through the CAFP (Canadian Association for Foodservice Professionals), and also students in Culinary Arts at the ITHQ. Furthermore, the company provided financial support for the historical library restoration project at John Abbot College, located in Ste-Anne-De-Bellevue. LUDA Foods also supported financially the UMR (Unité Mixte de Recherche) in gastronomy, which is a collaborative research project between Université Laval, ITHQ and the Casino of Montreal to help develop Quebec’s gastronomy.
