Seared Jumbo Shrimps with Orange infused Cream Sauce

Preparation
- Prepare culinary cream base according to package instructions, keep warm and set aside.
- Pat the shrimps dry with paper towels and season on both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large frying pan add 1tbsp of butter and all the oil, once hot begin searing shrimps.
- Cook shrimps until they are pink on both sides and opaque in the center. Set aside and keep warm.
- Using the same pan, warm the rest of the butter and sauté shallots until softened.
- Pour in orange juice and zest and let cook for a few minutes, deglazing the pan with a wooden spoon, until some of the liquid has evaporated.
- Pour orange juice mix into the cream sauce and stir until well incorporated.
- Decorate the plate with the sauce and serve shrimps on top.
Serve the sauce in the plate and dispose the shrimps on the sauce.

- 1 L (4 cups) of prepared Instant, Gluten-Free Culinary Cream Base
- 30 jumbo shrimps, raw, shelled and deveined
- 30 mL (2 tbsp) of butter
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) of canola oil
- 2 shallots, minced
- 250 mL (1 cup) of orange juice
- 30 mL (2 tbsp) of orange zest
- Salt and pepper, to taste
