Cheeseburger soup

Preparation
- Prepare the cream soup base as per instructions on package, add shredded cheese, mix well, and keep warm.
- Heat oil in a pan and brown ground beef. Set aside.
- In the same pan, cook the onions and mushrooms until soft.
- Mix the beef, onions, and mushrooms with the cream soup and season with the steak spice mix.
- Bring to a simmer for 15 minutes.
- Dish the soup and garnish with bacon bits, diced pickles (optional), shredded cheddar (optional), and ketchup and/or mustard (optional).
Give a true cheeseburger feeling by serving the soup in a bread bowl, or serve in a regular bowl and accompany with slices of baguette.

- 1250 mL (5 cups) of prepared Instant, Gluten-Free Culinary Cream Base
- 175 g (6 oz) of cheddar cheese, shredded
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) of vegetable oil
- 340 g (12 oz) of ground beef
- 13 g (4 oz) of mushrooms, sliced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) of Steak Spice Mix
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) of bacon, crumbled
- (Optional) Extra cheddar cheese, shredded
- (Optional) 125 mL (1/2 cup) of pickles, diced
- (Optional) Ketchup
- (Optional) Mustard
