With an increasing number of people being affected by celiac disease in recent years, gluten free products have become increasingly popular on both the retail and food service markets. As experts in dehydrated soup and sauce base, we were acutely aware of this situation and began manufacturing a variety of recipes declared gluten free by the Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) approach.
HACCP is a methodology used in food manufacturing facilities to ensure that food is safe from potential threats that can occur during the production process.
While this is a highly systematic approach it is perhaps less recognized amongst end users, as such we sought out additional certification from the Celiac Association of Canada and United States.
